Article of the day: assessing Trump’s climate policy

At the Duck of Minerva, Josh Busby has written a thoughtful summary of the ways in which the Trump White House can (and can’t) shift climate policy.  It seems likely that Trump will do a good deal of damage to international attempts to coordinate climate policy, as he and the Republican-held Congress can pull out of major environmental accords, and stop providing funding to low income countries for climate change litigation. Domestically, however, it will be more difficult to roll back some of the environmental regulations which Obama’s administration had signed into law.
